A Message about COVID-19

covid update
We are continually monitoring the information being provided by our state and local health officials concerning COVID-19. Our current guidelines remain in effect and we will revisit and communicate any changes.

As a reminder here are our Learning Center/Office guidelines:
All student meetings/support/tutoring sessions will be conducted using remote/virtual platforms (ZOOM, Google Hangouts, etc).

The Durango Learning Center is certified and registered with San Juan BASIN Health and will be open only under the following guidelines:
Anytime staff enters the office(s), they must follow our Safe Office Procedures posted at the entrance. This includes wiping down any surfaces that you use, wearing a mask, and social distancing.
Staff will be asked to complete the self-assessment procedure provided at the entrance of the center.
The learning center will be considered “open” for scheduled meetings Tu/Wed/Thur (This will allow for thorough cleaning per San Juan Basin Health guidelines).

Due to concerns surrounding the following of CDC and state COVID-19 guidance: The Cortez Learning Center will not be staffed at this time.

Virtual Learning Centers

ADDITIONAL NEW...eSchool Student Supports:
We are now hosting regular virtual learning center opportunities for students to log into. These will be open ZOOM rooms where many students are logged on and working with support from the eSchool staff. This is a great way to be accountable and connect with their peers while getting work done. This support will be available through the end of the semester. Have students email us to get connected.
