Is Online Learning for My Child?
If you’re a parent in Southwest Colorado who wants to give your child the best chance for success in high school, there’s now a regionally supported option in the Southwest Colorado eSchool (SWCeS).
We know that not all students can attend a traditional school and not all students enjoy learning in a physical classroom. The SWCeS was created to support these students in an academically rigorous supportive online educational program that is convenient and flexible.
We know that today’s students have a variety of unique educational needs, so the Southwest Colorado eSchool was designed to serve those individual needs through a learning environment that offers both flexibility and structure. The SWCeS curriculum aligns with the Colorado Department of Education standards and features licensed and experienced Colorado teachers who are committed to your child’s success. Students at the SWCeS sharpen their 21st Century Skills by engaging in a learning experience that includes video, online discussions, live web conferencing, instant messaging, group projects, wikis, blogs and more.
The SWCeS is offered tuition-free to students in five Southwest Colorado counties and is supported through offices that are local to the region.
